When we were reading "When My Name Was Keoko", i made a movie in my head that Tae-yul was flying on an airplane and getting ready to go to his mission. I made a movie while reading. Visualizing make me understand the book better and more interesting. I could feel and see how Omoni's and Sun-hee's expression were when they recieved the box from Tae-yul. I could feel that they were very sad and shocked by Tae-yul's decision.

Chapter 9 :
Question:
_ How did the film depict Americans?
Answer: 
_ The movie showed that Americans are white, usually riding horses and wearing big white hats. Shooting and killing other people.  The movie also said that the Americans hated all people with black hair and killed even women and babies of their enemies just to amuse themselves.


Chapter 10 :
Question:
_What is Tae-yul fascinated with? 
Answer:
_ Tae-yul is fascinated with airplanes, but he never thought he'd see one himself. He like it so much that he think about airplanes every second of the day. In class, he day dream how it would feel like when the plane take off. He think about airplanes instead of studying.

The Book I'm Reading ..

The book that i am reading is called "Girls Gone Green". The book talk about how girls from all over the United States tried to help the environment or what they care about. It is a great non-fiction book, it teaches us many ways to help our causes and what we can do to be a better human. Everything we do leave one or more carbon footprints to the earth, it is something we can not stop but we can leave LESS carbon footprints. I think everyone should try this book.
